A set of priorities aimed at improving health and social care services for the Island’s population have been published today. The Department’s Service Delivery Plan 2018-19 sets out what we aim to achieve in the current year, building on our five year strategy.
The plan shows how efforts will be focused on meeting objectives under five key goals:
- Helping people take greater responsibility for their own health
- Providing more care in the community
- Improving hospital services
- Protecting vulnerable people
- Ensuring good value for money in our spending on health and social care
