Touring exhibitions for loan

We have a number of exhibition panels which are suitable for display at locations across the Island. These are available for loan free of charge by Isle of Man public bodies, heritage and community organisations (loans are subject to availability).

Each set of panels includes one panel introducing the work of the Public Record Office, followed by a number of subject specific panels.

Exhibition panels currently available are:

  • The History and Records of Ballamona Hospital (4 panels)
  • The Villa Marina and Gardens (4 panels)
  • Highlights of the Isle of Man Public Record Office Collections (up to 9 panels)

To enquire about the loan of exhibition panels, please contact us at public.records@gov.im or on +44 1624 693569.

Tours and group visits

We offer tours for groups who wish to find out more about the Isle of Man Public Record Office. These include an introduction to our work, a trip behind the scenes into our archive stores and the chance to find out about highlighted documents from our archive collections.

Due to the nature of our site, the maximum group size for any visit is 12 people.

Tours typically last 45 minutes - 1 hour and are subject to staff availability.

If you would like to arrange a group visit, please contact us at public.records@gov.im or on +44 1624 693569.
