Financial regulations
A set of rules produced by Treasury to regulate the financial practices of Government, in the form of directives, which carry the weight of law and must be complied with, and guidelines, which Departments are expected to follow.

First aid/medicines
First Aid courses are held at regular intervals, thus ensuring that school staff receive adequate training and the necessary updates. Parents should discuss their child's medication with their school.

Free school meals
A parent or guardian may apply for free meals for pupils attending primary or secondary schools, or students who are 18 and under and in full time education at the University College Isle of Man (UCM), if the family is in receipt of any of the relevant benefits. These benefits are:
- Employed Person’s Allowance
- Income Based Jobseeker's Allowance
- Income Support
Applications for free school meals can be made by completing the online application form. Alternatively, an application form can be downloaded from this page and when completed, returned to the Department of Education, Sport and Culture:
