Clinical/professional transformation panel
The role of the Clinical/Professional Transformation Panel ('the Panel') is twofold:
- to provide assurance that the Programme is planning, architecting and delivering in a manner that is suitable for the Isle of Man, particularly with a view towards high quality, integrated and clinically sustainable services; and
- to act as champions for the Programme, including ensuring that clinical/professional engagement is being carried out in the most effective way, supporting the fostering of the culture and behaviours that ensure the Transformation Programme has strong engagement, ensuring that the Programme is appropriately clinically/professionally led and by providing subject matter input and ensuring suitable involvement and engagement.
The Panel is chaired by Professor James Kingsland OBE, Independent Clinical and Professional Adviser within the Transformation Programme. The Vice-Chair is Dr Ishaku Pam, Clinical Director for Unscheduled Care at Noble’s Hospital. Both the Chair and Vice-Chair will attend the Transformation Board as advisers in order to represent the views of the entire Panel.
The Panel members are selected by the Transformation Programme team and Sir Jonathan Michael following an open expression of interest to represent the broad range of health and care professionals that the Isle of Man has to offer.
