The Asian Swamp
![]() The great rivers of Asia provide, in their upper marshes and seaward deltas, wetland habitats for a variety of animals. Rhinos, elephants and deer are the more spectacular, and now rare, but duck, water birds and even some monkeys live in or near the waters. The extensive coastal mangrove swamps provide a similar, though salty, habitat.

The Swamp habitat at the Wildlife Park contains; sika deer, red panda, Asian short-clawed otter, fishing cat, white-naped and demoiselle cranes, crab-eating macaques, red-breasted goose and other species of waterfowl.
