Curraghs Wildlife Park

NatureTrail

The Wildlife Park is situated to the south of the Ballaugh Curraghs, the largest and most important remnant of willow carr and hay meadows on the Island. The Nature Trail enables you to explore the variety of habitats present - without getting your feet wet - and learn how this area was farmed in the past and why it is no longer farmed today. Along the way many of the fascinating species of plants and animals present can easily be seen, including orchids and royal fern.
