Introduction
Without doubt, this is an exciting time to work for the Isle of Man Water Authority as we embark on some of the most ambitious projects detailed in our Strategic Business Plan.
Over the next fifteen years, the Authority will seek to improve existing facilities, including the construction of two new water treatment works and the refurbishment and replacement of pumping stations and water mains. The new works at Sulby came on line in October 2005, with the new works in Douglas on line in from February 2008.
All of these projects have been devised to improve water quality and service to our customers. Every day we get a little bit closer to our vision for the future: to provide "Crystal clear drinking water for the Island's population".

We currently employ over 100 individuals, either as civil servants, as members of Whitley Council or on a fixed contract basis.
