Q What are your opening hours?
AOur Customer Services and reception is open from 8:30am to 17:00pm Monday to Friday excepting Bank Holidays. We have an out of hours emergency line 695999.
Q Is the water on the Isle of Man hard or soft?
ADue to the low mineral content on the island our water is soft.
Q What should I do if I experience low pressure or no water at all?
A Initially we advise that you check our homepage for up to date information regarding any works in your area. If you are still unsure, please telephone our Customer Services Department on 695949 during office hours.
Q My external stop tap is broken, what should I do?
A

A: Telephone our Customer Services department on 695949 where we will take your details and an experienced member of our Networks department will inspect the stop tap and then arrange to repair.

Q My internal pipework is leaking what should I do?
A

You will need to telephone a Government Registered Plumber to carry out the repair. The plumber should be able to isolate the supply. If the plumber needs to turn the external stop tap off, we can assist with this by telephoning our Customer Services Department on 695949 or alternatively if this happens out of hours please telephone our emergency line on 695999.

Q Should I replace lead pipes?
AWe advise that you should consider this. We require for you to complete a Lead Pipe Replacement form and to arrange with a Government Registered Plumber to replace your side of the service pipe. We will then arrange to replace our side of the boundary stop tap free of charge.
Q There is water bubbling out of the ground,should I call you?
AYes on 695949 as soon as you can. We rely on the island's residents to keep us informed and we are always grateful for your call. The earlier we know about a leak the earlier we can fix the problem before it disrupts your supply.
Q I think my pipes have frozen!!

Q My bathroom is clean apart from pink stuff, is it harmful?
AThe pink stuff is not harmful and is very common in newer properties. For further information please see pink stuff in my bathroom
