Digest of Economic and Social Statistics 2008

The 2008 Digest of Economic and Social Statistics has now been issued by the Economic Affairs Division of the Treasury.

The Digest is the most comprehensive statistical publication available relating to the Isle of Man. It covers a diverse range of economic and social information, incorporating the most recent data available at 1st January 2008

The Digest presents a combination of economic statistics providing information on the growth and development of the Island’s economy. It also shows social statistics on a range of matters relating to life in the Isle of Man. The Digest is presented in sixteen separate sections containing key statistics in areas including health, education, population and employment. It also contains the most recent results of all major surveys undertaken by the Treasury, such as the Earnings Survey and the Passenger Survey.

Copies of the 2008 Digest of Economic and Social Statistics are available from the Tynwald Library, Legislative Buildings, Douglas, at a price of £3.50.
