| A | Yes, however be aware that the Isle of Man Government operates a work permit system for off-Island contractors, further information is available here |

| Q | How do I find out what work is available for me to apply for? |

| A | There are two ways, firstly for large construction schemes we will advertise in all three of the Island’s newspapers as well as on this website. For smaller work we operate a number of select lists the applications for which can be found on this website. |

| Q | How long will I have to wait to get paid? |

| A | We endeavour to pay all suppliers/contractors within 30 days of a correctly presented invoice being received by us. |

| Q | Why do I keep getting asked to provide quotes rather that just being given an order? |

| A | In order to ensure value for money for the taxpayer we will obtain three quotes from suppliers and contractors if the purchase exceeds certain levels of expenditure. |
