Bride Village Development Order
The Department of Infrastructure is proposing to make an Order under Section 8 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1999, the effect of which would be to grant planning approval in principle for the residential development of approximately 1.2 ha of land in Bride village.
The site adjoins the south side of the village, stretching from Ballakilley Hill to the Lambhill Road, and is owned by the Department. There would be a maximum of 27 dwellings, at least 75% of which would be made available as affordable units or would be public-sector units. A new access would be provided through the public car-park to serve the majority of the dwellings.
