Televisions, computer monitors and fluorescent light tubes
Free recycling service for household TV's, computer monitors & fluorescent light tubes via Civic Amenity sites
Recycling schemes at each of the four Civic Amenity Sites have been expanded to include household electrical items (which are classified as hazardous electrical waste for disposal purposes.) Since 1st April 2007, the Department of Local Government and the Environment has been funding FREE recycling for household televisions, computer monitors and fluorescent light tubes at all Civic Amenity Sites.
The amount of goods recycled each year helps us to understand how much household electrical waste we are producing on the Island, which in turn informs our future waste strategy. This scheme is currently subject to an annual funding review.
