The Department of Infrastructure has made Orders under the Road Races Act 1982 and the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1985 to facilitate the 2012 TT Races and other associated Motorsport and Entertainment events. These are detailed on the attached Handbill.

In particular it should be noted that the A18 Snaefell Mountain Road will be closed to Traffic between Barrule Park and the Creg-ny-Baa on Friday 25 May between 9:15am and 4:00pm to allow the setup of a one-way system. The one-way system will remain in place until Monday 11 June when the road will again close between 9:15am and 4:00pm for its removal.

Other notable differences from last year’s arrangements include the reinstatement of the Saturday practice session on the evening of 26 May and the early closure of the course at 10:00am (9:30 for the Mountain Road) on Saturday 2 June to facilitate the Olympic Torch Parade between Quarterbridge and Braddan Bridge on the TT course.
