Port St Mary
Port St Mary has a busy working harbour, a safe and sandy beach, and is home to some superb walking country. Breathtaking views can be enjoyed on the costal path to Perwick Bay and beyond.
The golf course, perched above the village, also offers some outstanding panoramas over the Manx hills and out to sea. In addition, there are a number of fine pubs and cafes providing delightful home cooking - the ideal reward after some serious walking. Craft fairs are held every Wednesday during the summer.
Among the summer pleasure cuises which run from Port St Mary and Port Erin are trips to the Calf of Man, pictured on the right - an Island nature reserve and bird sanctuary.
