The Isle of Man boasts an impressive network of heritage railways powered by steam, electricity and even horsepower.

Explore the Douglas Promenades on the horse trams, take the Manx Electric Railway to Laxey to learn more about the Island’s mining heritage , or scale the dizzying heights of the Island’s only mountain in an electric tram car.

It's possible to see the majority of the Island by travelling on the railway networks and many of the Island’s heritage attractions are also located near to the railway stops making it easy to get around.

Visitors can purchase "Explorer" tickets, which allow unlimited travel on the Steam Railway, Manx Electric Railway, Snaefell Mountain Railway, and Douglas Horse Trams, meaning getting around is cost effective as well as convenient.
