Trail Riding

Experience some of the best trail riding in the British Isles with the Island’s extensive network of “unmade roads”.

Overview

The Isle of Man has more than 120km of extensive countryside trails that are suitable for off-road vehicles, pedestrians, mountain bikes and horse riders.

Whether you go it alone, with a guide or on an organised trip, you’ll find yourself travelling through the valleys, sandy beaches, fields, and up mountainous peaks.

Trails are located Island wide and vary in difficulty – one minute you may find yourself on a steep rocky climb and the next a free flowing descent into flat, open terrain.

The trails, known as green lanes, are clearly marked with a sign displaying a motorbike and a horse and are, in the main, easily accessible from public roads so you’ll be able to easily get off the beaten track.

Packages

Enduro Mann Trail Holidays, based in Foxdale in the west of the Island, offer trail riding holidays which include accommodation and a trails guide who will lead you to some of the best trails on the Island. Prices start from £157 per person. For more information telephone 01624 803003 or visit www.clagmooar.com.
