Strategically located in the centre of the Island and within 100 yards of the popular Tynwald Mills Centre with its shopping, art gallery, car parking, cafes and other facilities the Mill will provide a well equipped venue for meetings, training and workshops for a wide range of charities, church groups, and other voluntary and private sector organisations. Providing seven rooms of different size and character it will have versatile facilities for any size of meeting between 4 and 40 people. The facilities include an Arts workshop, Quiet room, Lecture room, 3 meeting rooms and an area for light meals and refreshments. Each room will be provided with the latest presentational equipment together with access to the internet and other support services. In partnership with the Manx Conservation Trust a wildflower garden and water meadow on the adjoining 'tenterfield' site has been created and acts as an environmental classroom which is accessible to people with disability and which can be used in conjunction with the workshop and formal teaching facilities of St. John's Mill.
