The National Sports Centre was first assesed in December 2001 and received a Highly Commended Status, this level has been maintained and now improved to the Excellent status. The NSC is benchmarked against other sport & leisure facilities in the UK and at time of writing is currenty rated 4th with a score of 87% in the National League Table.
