The Douglas Civil Registry Office is open to the public Monday to Thursday 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. and Friday 9.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. For the opening hours and contact information for the Castletown, Peel and Ramsey Civil Registry Offices, please visit the Contacts page.
Additional note: Due to the nature of the Civil Registry business requirements and in order to maximise the service provisions to customers for all event registrations (births, deaths, marriages and civil partnerships), the Douglas Civil Registry Office administers an appointment system. Appointments may also be made for other Civil Registry services. To make an appointment, please telephone +44(0)1624 687039 or e-mail email@example.com.
With effect from Wednesday 2nd January 2013, the Douglas Civil Registry Office will no longer open on Saturdays for registration services. This change will not effect civil marriage and civil partnership ceremonies which will continue to be offered on Saturdays, subject to prior booking.
Please note that certified copies of certificates may take up to 5 working days from receipt. Requests for geneology certificates may take up to 28 working days from receipt.
