PUBLIC NOTICE

Registries Section. NEW HOURS OF BUSINESS

With effect from the 5th October 2009, the Registries Section will be open to conduct business between the following hours:-

• Monday to Friday: 9.00am to 4.30pm*
• Saturday: 9.30am to 11.30am (Civil Registry only)

Due to the nature of the requirements and in order to maximise the service provided to customers for all event registrations (births, deaths, marriage notices and civil wedding ceremonies), with effect from the 5th October 2009 the Civil Registry (Douglas Office) will administer an appointments system for such events. Appointments may also be made for other Civil Registry services. During the hours of 12.00 noon to 2.00 p.m. priority will be given to those with appointments.
