Postal Orders
- Postal Orders are a convenient way of sending money by post. There is a charge for the Postal Order which is known as the poundage.
- They are issued and may be cashed at all Post Offices in the IOM and UK and can be used for buying mail order goods or for paying bills.
- Postal Orders are valid for six months from the date of issue.
- If a Postal Order is crossed it must be paid through the nominated bank account and cannot be encashed at a Post Office.
