Adoption
108. Reinstatement After Resignation
An officer who:
a) resigns because he/she does not intend to return to work, but
b) later wishes to return because of a radical change in circumstances has no absolute right to return but should be allowed to do so, if at all possible, in accordance with Regulation F109. If he/she returns before the end of the period of adoption leave to which he/she would have been entitled if he/she had applied (such period beginning with the week in which the period of paid adoption leave would have commenced), their resignation will be cancelled and the period of absence will be counted as paid and/or unpaid leave in accordance with the provisions of this section.
