The functions of The Personnel Office, which impact across the whole of the Public Service, are exercised within the parameters of Government’s Corporate Governance Principles and Code of Conduct, by seeking to work with openness, integrity and accountability. A key feature of this work is to reflect the values of Government, as set out in the Strategic Plan, in relation to people strategy and policy, and the management and health, safety and welfare. This is achieved through the provision of constructive advice and support and the promotion of consistency of approach across the whole of Government, helping all Departments, Boards and Offices to use their available resources efficiently, and assisting and supporting the modernisation of public service delivery.
