British and Irish Ombudsman Association: this site carries information on a range of private and public ombudsman schemes in the UK and its dependent territories.

The Pensions Advisory Service: is an independent non-profit organisation that provides free information, advice and guidance on pensions covering State, company, personal and stakeholder schemes. Complainants should first approach the Pensions Advisory Service.

Pensions Ombudsman: this scheme covers complaints about the administration and running of both personal and occupational pension schemes. The Pensions Ombudsman covers pensions provided in the Isle of Man and the UK.

UK Financial Ombudsman Service: this scheme covers complaints about banking, insurance, loans, investments and financial advice provided in or from the UK.

European Commission: maintains a list of out of court complaints bodies for financial services across the European Union.

Financial Supervision Commission: the FSC is the regulator for banks, building societies, investment business, collective investment schemes and corporate service providers in the Isle of Man.

Insurance and Pensions Authority: the IPA regulates insurance and pension business on the Isle of Man.
