The Dhoon & Bulgham Brooghs

Land at the Dhoon was purchased in 1973 and 1975, together with a two thirds interest in the Bulgham Brooghs. This area is now the main haunt in Mann of the larger feral goat flock. The geology of the Manx Slate Series in the cliffs is impressive—these cliffs are also the haunt of the Chough, Raven and Peregrine. The coastal properties of the Trust now afford additional protection to a significant number of these most attractive birds.
