Douglas Corporation horse-drawn tram No14 was built in 1883, by the Metropolitan Railway Carriage and Wagon Company of Birmingham, for South Shields tramways. It was purchased from them by Douglas Corporation in 1887. It was operated by Douglas Corporation tramways until 1939 when it was finally withdrawn from service. It is believed to be the oldest surviving double-decker horse tram. Single deck horse trams still run each summer along Douglas seafront.
This tram is on display in the Manx Museum, Douglas.
