There is a strong social element associated with the TT races. Motorcycle fans come from far and wide, not just to see the races but also to soak up the TT atmosphere. Souvenir T Shirts are popular, and this example from 2000 carries the TT tagline ‘Isle of Man, Roadracing capital of the world’. The rider wearing the Arai helmet is clearly a depiction of the late Joey Dunlop.
