Laxey Wheel Jug

Little is known of the origins of this Rockingham-ware jug except that it was presented to the Captain of the Great Laxey Mine, Richard Rowe, by the directors of the company upon the opening of the Great Laxey Wheel in 1854.
This jug is on display in the Manx Museum, Douglas.
