Foghorn

Manx Museum Accession Number - 1954-7328

An early box type Fog Horn, used at one time in one of the Port St Mary fishing boats. It has three sets of bellows, two on top and one underneath, fitted into the box, and was worked by turning the handle (the actual horn is unfortunately missing). The bottom bellows are held in place by three springs.

This foghorn is on display in the Manx Museum, Douglas.
