Bone Die

Die from Peel Castle

Dimensions: 0.8cm x 0.8cm x 0.8cm Manx Museum Accession Number - 1984-16/E 202 FY

Medieval bone or walrus ivory die. The die has the same arrangement of numbers found on modern dice (a Viking die had no number 1s but two number 2s.) Found in a 13th century context.

The die is on display at the Manx Museum.
