Temporary closure of x-ray facilities at Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital

Due to the installation of new equipment within the x-ray facility at Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital the x-ray service will be closed from Wednesday 21st March 2012 until Monday 9th April 2012 inclusive. It is planned that normal service will resume again on Tuesday 10th April 2012.

Patients requiring imaging for clinic appointments during the period of downtime have already been contacted and alternative arrangements made. Other patients requiring an x-ray during the period of closure will be required to attend Noble’s Hospital Radiology Department. If patients are physically able to travel to Noble’s Hospital in their own transport, they will be asked to do so; otherwise transport will be arranged.

The Department of Health apologises for any inconvenience this may cause and will ensure that a full imaging service is resumed at Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital as planned.
