GLI Europe added to Approved Testing Facilities

Established firm added to Isle of Man's approved e-gaming test houses.

Another firm offering third party testing facilities for online gaming devices, has been approved by the Gambling Supervision Commission on the Isle of Man.

Representatives from Gaming Laboratories International Europe met up with the Isle of Man regulators at the recent IGE Conference in London. They were keen to become associated with the Isle of Man, which is rapidly increasing it's profile as a secure and well-regulated jurisdiction in the global business of online gaming.

The Gambling Supervision Commission is committed to maintaining the highest standards across all areas of e-gaming which involve the Isle of Man. GLI Europe were required to provide details of their processes to ensure their business model was rigorous enough for approval.

‘It is important that the Isle of Man continues to build it's reputation as a jurisdiction which is open and easy to deal with, whilst enforcing standards which ensure our core principals are fully adhered to ,’ said Gambling Supervision Commission Director, Steve Brennan.

The three overriding principles that the Isle of Man is committed to are:

  • keeping the gambling industry crime free.
  • protecting the young and vulnerable.
  • ensuring that facilities offered by licenceholders are fair and players receive their true winnings.

The Isle of Man attaches great importance to any firm offering testing facilities. This enables all companies licensed on the island to have a facility in place to make sure their gaming systems are totally robust.

The addition of GLI Europe takes the approved list of testing companies up to five, giving licenceholders in the Isle of Man additional scope to keep their systems up to the highest quality.
