Excellent turnout for Drug and Alcohol Strategy open day

D&A Open Day line-upTHE work of the Chief Minister’s Drug and Alcohol Strategy was highlighted during an open day at the Hilton Hotel today (Tuesday).

Several government and voluntary organisations were represented at the event which aimed to promote a greater understanding of drug and alcohol issues in the Island.

The open day provided an opportunity for people to express their views on matters affecting the community as a result of drinking and drug use.

Some of the displays at the Hilton were interactive and there was also a chance to sample a mocktail – a non-alcoholic cocktail.
