

People are extremely content to live on the Isle of Man. In a recent survey* 96% of resident AB's indicated they were satisfied with the Island as a place to live. The Island's beautiful countryside, its suitability for family life and safe environment were cited amongst the best things about living on the Island (*Source MOLI Life Survey 2002)
There is a wealth of diverse leisure pursuits for residents and visitors, with an emphasis on outdoor activities. You can get involved in sports at all levels. For example you can navigate the challenging motoring circuits or costal waters, dive on local wrecks and enjoy myriad other sports at clubs and leisure facilities. Fishing is plentiful and golf can be played on the Island's many golf courses, two of which are challenging links courses.
There is an extensive cultural scene including jazz festivals, travelling theatre productions and operatic recitals and - of course - the Island is home to the world famous Tourist Trophy (TT) Motorcycle races, which celebrates their centenary in 2007.
