David Vick joined the Insurance and Pensions Authority (IPA) in 1989 and was appointed as its Chief Executive in September 2001, with effect from 1st April 2002. He previously worked for one of the Island's leading captive insurance management companies.

David is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) and is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner. In 1994/95 he was President of the Insurance Institute of the Isle of Man.
