Further outbreaks of rain will develop this morning, becoming heavy for a time, before clearing mid to late morning. A mostly dry afternoon will follow, with sunny spells developing. Strong to near gale southerly winds will turn south-westerly and ease to become moderate to fresh as the rain clears, whilst temperatures will reach 11C / 52F.

 

 

 

 

Outlook for tomorrow:

Dry and bright at first but starting to cloud over during the afternoon, with rain late in the day.

A complex low will cover waters to the north and north-west of the British Isles, with a frontal trough moving east across the Irish Sea this morning.

South or south-east force 6 to gale 8, although a force or two lighter towards Liverpool Bay, veering south-west 4 or 5 later this morning but still occasionally 6 in the west. Backing south or south-east 4 overnight.

State of Sea:

Moderate or rough, becoming slight or moderate.

Weather:

Occasional rain or drizzle. Becoming fair from the west during the morning into the early afternoon, with only isolated showers thereafter.

Visibility:

Good, becoming moderate, occasionally poor, in rain.
