A few scattered showers passing over at times, but these clearing by late morning, leaving sunny intervals for the rest of the day. However, it will become windy with a strong, blustery and cool northwesterly developing. Top temperatures 16 or 17 Celsius / around 62F.

 

Later this evening and tonight winds will ease a little, then tomorrow will be mostly bright with a mainly fresh northwest wind moderating later in the day.

Warnings: There is a Gale Warning in operation.

 

General Situation: A deep low will track slowly eastwards across the North Sea, the centre expected near to southern Norway tonight.

 

Wind: West or west-northwest 5 or 6, veering northwesterly and increasing 6 or 7 around late morning, possibly touching gale 8 in a few places through to mid afternoon, then gradually easing this evening to 5 or 6 locally 7.

 

Weather: Scattered showers dying out.

 

Visibility: Good, possibly moderate at times in showers.

 

State of Sea: Moderate or rough.

 

Approximate times of tides around the Isle of Man: -

High tide 1-10 pm

Low tide 7-20 pm

High tide 1-10am tomorrow.
