Horse Road Safety

Motorists and riders both have the right to use Manx roads and a right to safe and enjoyable travel. It is important that both share the responsibility to understand each others needs.

The Road Safety Unit run courses for young riders so they can communicate with other road users and build up confidence in riding on the road.

The course consists of theory and practical sessions including the Highway Code and a theory and practical test.
