Welcome to the Department of Transport Highways Division web site. This site is divided into various sections relating to the Division's functions.

For information on the current road closures or press releases please visit the News section. The Administration Section contains information relating to traffic orders, parking and abnormal loads.

Network Planning Section seek solutions to traffic problems by way of road improvements, traffic regulation and traffic management schemes. They respond to planning applications, look after estate roads and complete private street works.

The Network Operations Section is responsible for the road network on the Isle of Man in order to make it suitable for travel in a safe and effective manner.
