Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital is clinically led by on-site General Practitioners, of 31 beds on Martin Ward. Also on site are multidisciplinary departments and ancillary support. There are also on-site facilities for adults with mental health problems and learning disabilities.
Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital delivers a varied range of diagnostic, therapeutic and care services, predominantly for residents of the north of the Isle of Man.
The hospital provides services from a Minor Injuries and Illness Unit (08:00 and 20:00hrs every day of the year, including all Bank Holidays) and many out-patient facilities. Reception, administration and ancillary staff support the Hospital.
Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital serves the north of the Island, including the catchment area of the river in Laxey to Glen Wyllin in Kirk Michael. With facilities including a Minor Injuries and Illness Unit, Martin Ward for in-patients, and services from Physiotherapy to Minor Surgery, RDCH benefits the Island as a whole.
