The Jane Crookall Maternity Unit is the only maternity unit on the Isle of Man. It is situated on the first floor of the East Wing and comprises of 17 beds.
The Maternity unit comprises of the following:
- Antenatal/postnatal ward, where there are two bays containing four beds
- Six side rooms
- One two bedded bay
- One family room
The Delivery Suite comprises of the following:
- Four delivery rooms
- One birth pool room
- A dedicated theatre
Meet the Team
The Head of Midwifery is Jane Sloane.
There are six Lead Midwives, and these are:
- Barbara Roberts - Infant Feeding
- Jane Gray - Inpatient Services
- Lorraine Moffitt - Antenatal Services
- Mary O’Connor - Safeguarding and Vulnerable Women
- Sue Kirk - Delivery Suite
- Verity Imlach - Community Services
Where to find us
The Jane Crookall Maternity Unit is situated on the 1st floor in the East Wing, Noble’s Hospital and it is signposted along the corridor from the main reception area. The unit provides the following:-
- Care for all women admitted antenatally
- Antenatal services within the clinic
- Postnatal care
- Intrapartum care
- Maternity theatre
- Community midwifery services antenatal and postnatal
Partners and siblings can visit anytime; other visitors are allowed to visit at 14:00hrs to 16:00hrs and 19:00hrs to 20:00hrs.
