| About Us: We have four practitioners, a practice manager, two practice nurses and six receptionists/admin staff here at Hailwood. We also have Health Visitors and District Nurses attached to the practice. Our aim is to provide expert and friendly, personalised health care for you and your family. We are receiving increasing numbers of emails from patients for the attention of doctors, asking for opinions or information, requesting contact from the doctor by phone or email or simply passing information on to the doctor. The doctors need to manage their workload for the benefit of patients and this means that they deal with the most urgent matters first. Email correspondence is dealt with in the same way as written correspondence: The doctor reviews everything which comes to him and prioritises the most urgent. So, sending a message by email will not provide a 'fast track' to the doctor - if you have an urgent medical need, please make contact with the surgery by phone or in person so that this can be promptly assessed and treated without delay. Please note we also do not make appointments or correspond via Email or Fax requests. We take data protection very seriously and the practice policy is that we will not provide personal medical information via these means because we have no control over the security of this data once it has left the practice. | Out of Hours - MEDS: The Emergency Doctor Service is situated at Nobles Hospital. If you need a Doctor out of hours please call the surgery 686949 and you will be given instructions on how to contact the out of hours service. Accident and Emergency: Whatever the day or time, if you experience severe chest pain, acute breathlessness or any symptoms that you might think are due to a stroke Call 999. Disabled Access: We have full disabled access facilities. The main consulting rooms and disabled toilet are on the ground floor. Disabled parking spaces are also available at the front of the building. Baby Changing Facilities also available. | |
