PODIATRY SERVICE
People living in the Isle of Man who experience foot problems have access to a modern Podiatry Service.
The Service targets these who have a clinical need for treatment.
Podiatry (also known as Chiropody) is a specialty dealing with the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of foot and lower limb disorders.
HPC Chiropodists now use the term Podiatry as this is internationally recognised as the name for foot specialists.
The Service is provided free throughout the Island with HPC Registered Podiatrists based at the main centres of population covering over 3 treatment locations.
We aim to provide
- Assessment and treatment with a Podiatrist
- Foot treatment based on clinical and medical need
