LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT AT KEYLL DARREE
A wide range of education and training opportunities are available to all staff in the Department of Health and working in health and social care and related fields in the private and voluntary sectors.
Most workshops, events, seminars and courses are open to all staff. Specific programmes of study are also arranged for doctors, nurses and allied health professionals.
The Department of Health Education and Training Centre at Keyll Darree is the main facility available for educational programmes for the Department of Health and Department of Social Care. They can be contacted on +44 (0) 1624 651420.

The Learning Strategy
The Joint DH/DSC Learning Strategy Group has agreed a learning strategy to take learning and development in the following broad directions:

The Learning Strategy is backed up by a Learning Action Plan which gives us concrete objectives and targets for the development of learning in the Department of Health and the Department of Social Care.
