SENIOR LEADERSHIP TEAM

The Department’s Senior Leadership Team is focused on both the strategic direction and operational delivery of all aspects of the Department’s responsibilities. To reinforce the importance of both clinical and financial expertise in achieving this, the Director of Public Health and the Director of Finance, Legislation and Corporate Services are integral members of the Senior Leadership Team. The Senior Leadership Team as a group meets at least monthly but its individual members are constantly in contact with a huge range of "frontline" healthcare professionals throughout the Department, including key colleagues such as the Hospital Manager; Medical Director; Director of Nursing at Noble's Hospital - that post holder also being designated "Chief Nurse"; Primary Care Manager and the Director of Community Nursing.

The Senior Leadership Team, or component members, have led, and continue to lead, in respect of such initiatives as the Strategy for the Future of Health Services; the steering group charged with taking the Strategy forward; a wide range of individual project/initiatives both clinical and managerial in nature and are key to the current development and application of business processes in the achievement of the Department’s objectives. The Senior Leadership Team benchmarks its performance against a "balanced scorecard".
