MANAGEMENT INFORMATION AND TECHNOLOGY DIRECTORATE (MI&T)
Working within the Isle of Man Government Information and Communication Technology (ICT) framework, the Management Information and Technology Directorate (MI&T) is responsible for the production of management and clinical information across the Department of Health, developing, in conjunction with users, effective information strategies and ICT business case proposals from concept to system handover, system administration and bespoke aspects of IT training.
Working with the Department of Economic Development’s Information Systems Division (ISD), the MI&T Directorate helps develop initiatives that can enable health service modernisation using technology such as the application of telemedicine and e-health. The Directorate also gives advice and direction on data protection, information security issues and information governance.
