Infrastructure
Over the past five years, the Isle of Man has invested heavily in infrastructure to ensure:
- remains an attractive location for businesses to locate
- that the island is totally self sufficient
- improves the quality of life of its residents
Because of the commitment of the government and full cooperation of the business community, the Isle of Man now offers gambling and e-gaming companies an ideal environment in which to grow their business.

Transport
The Isle of Man has excellent transport links since the opening of Ronaldsway International Airport, which links the Isle of Man to most major cities in the UK and Ireland, all within an hour’s flight.

Telecoms
The Isle of Man has a world class telecoms infrastructure for connectivity, bandwidth capacity and security. This is a large part of the reason why mmO2 have chosen the Isle of Man to trial their super fast 3.5G technology on the island.
The Isle of Man Government provides a subsidy to Manx Telecom and Domicilium to provide the connection and three months line rental, for both domestic and business customers to the on-island ADSL network.

Power
The Manx Electricity Authority has worked hard to ensure that the island is totally self sufficient for it’s power needs, with four power stations currently supplying enough power to sell their surplus to power suppliers in the UK.

Quality of Life
The Isle of Man is consistently rated as having the one of highest standards of living in the UK. This is mainly due to the stability of the government, the superb infrastructure and a strong community spirit that exists on the island.

Government
The Isle of Man Government has the longest running continuous parliament in history. Tynwald is not based on a party system, which makes a more stable government process; it is also illegal to put the government into a budget deficit.
