The statutory regulatory powers of the Commission extend to both current and former licenceholders. Where a licence or particular class within a licence has been surrendered or revoked the relevant regulated activity must not be undertaken unless an exemption exists under the Financial Services (Exemption) Regulations 2011. The Commission’s powers in respect of the regulated activity undertaken prior to the date of the surrender or revocation of a licence or particular class within a licence remain exercisable.

This register is searchable by the name of the licenceholder at the date it surrendered its licence. You can also check for previous names and later names by using the Companies Registry Public View site.
