The family library is open to all children, teenagers, students, teachers and carers. Library

The library is open:

Term Time Tuesday to Friday - 10.00a.m. to 12.30p.m. and 1.30p.m. to 5.00p.m.

Saturdays - 10.30a.m. to 4.30 p.m.

School Holidays Tuesday to Friday - 10.30a.m. to 12.30p.m. and 1.30p.m. to 4.30p.m. Saturdays - 10.30a.m. to 4.30p.m.

The infant section of the library has board books for babies and a large collection of picture books. The junior and senior sections contain reading schemes (inc Barrington Stoke titles for children with reading difficulties) as well as a wide variety of the latest titles to inspire, excite and entertain.

The young adults section has a selection of latest titles as well as modern classics, world classics, graphic novels and a collection of study guides and reference books. Family Library

The library also has a large non-fiction collection for hobbies and project work, audio books on CD and DVDs for every age group and every interest. Teachers and carers can join the library and borrow books (including a collection of big books), CDs and DVDs for classes or other groups.

The mobile library also operates from Nobles Hall, It is open from Monday to Friday and travels all over the Island . It covers 10 routes once a fortnight and is open to all members of the public of any age. There is also a housebound service available for those unable to come to the library themselves and books and/or tapes are supplied to Residential Homes.Mobile library

A whole range of books are on offer from general and popular fiction to large print, non-fiction and a variety of books on tape and CDs. A book exchange service is available to the Island’s schools. The mobile library carries a stock of some 3000 items and a stock of over 25000 back at Noble’s Hall, which can be requested at any time.
