| Synopsis | The Tichborne Claimant is based on the 19th Century true story of Arthur Orton, who attempted to sue the Tichborne family, claiming he was Sir Roger Tichborne, the presumed drowned heir to the family estate. A black servant, searches through the wilderness that is nineteenth century Australia for the missing heir to the vast estates of one of Englands oldest families, the Tichbornes of Hampshire.
